Financial Services
Financial planners and wealth strategists have become critical roles in supporting individuals to become financial secure and wealthy. The Australasian College of Leadership and Coaching, in joint venture with RG146 Training Australia, offers financial planner training:
• Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) (CODE FNS50804) – this Nationally recognised qualification is considered the minimum entry requirement for those new to the financial planning industry or transferring to a position where they are required to provide advice to retail clients. It is an ASIC requirement that financial planners complete the minimum skills and knowledge components of the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) before receiving authorisation to provide personal advice in the areas of investment planning, superannuation and insurance with consideration for the client’s needs and risk profile; and
• Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Finanical Planning) (CODE FNS60404) - this Nationally recognised qualification is fast becoming the default qualification for the financial planning industry. Most leading Australian Dealer Groups recognise that advisers holding the Advanced Diploma are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide personal advice for retail clients with complex needs, such as estate planning, taxation and sophisticated investment planning.
Training is available in distance and face-to-face learning modes.
